  9. The Macintosh system software is designed to protect the user from
  10. accidentally losing information, and generally does a good job at
  11. that. Except for one thing: if you insert an MS Dos disk into your
  12. drive, your mac will happily offer you to format it. Even with the
  13. advent of system 7, this was not corrected in standard system
  14. software. WatchDos corrects this problem. Whenever you insert an MS
  15. Dos disk into your FDHD drive, WatchDos will issue a warning.

  17. The Shareware fee is $10 for the first copy and $5 for *each*
  18. additional macintosh you install WatchDos on. A site license
  19. (unlimited use) costs $100.

  21. You can distribute this software by giving it away to friend, upload
  22. it to a BBS or online services like Compuserve or AOL, or send it to
  23. any ftp site. Basically you can distribute it any way you like, as
  24. long as you don't ask any money for it, other than a small charge
  25. related to distribution costs (cost of a disk, postage or download
  26. fee) and keep it together with the unmodified document in the
  27. original compressed archive this product came in.
